Lisa from The Whole Cake and Caboodle has added that sweet touch to a multitude of Northland weddings and events over the last 10 years, specialising in bespoke cake creations.

A cake is a very personal decorative element that adds so much to any wedding, where it sits pride of place on display to be admired by your guests during the day, right up until that special moment when it is cut by the happy couple.

Creations can range from single or multi-tiered wedding cakes, smaller cake and cupcake tower combinations, and personalised cookie table favours for your guests. Depending on your requirements, designs can range from the traditional, rustic, abstract, or romantic, through to custom more individual personal designs.

Lisa is happy to discuss your wedding details with you and provide helpful advice on required cake size, correct transportation if delivery isn’t an option, or to assist in a design to complement you and your wedding.

As with most items in your wedding plans it comes back to budget, so have an idea of cake costs and take the time to decide what your expectations are. A busy design for a multi-tiered cake with silver or gold leaf, personalised figures and handmade icing flowers may far exceed your budget, but if you are realistic and prepared to reduce detail, or even rethink your budget slightly you will end up with a gorgeous creation at your special event.
